Remote hiring made trust-heavy, not trust-blind

Remote interviews make it easier for proxy candidates and deepfakes to slip into your funnel. Manual ID checks are slow and inconsistent. RippleHire’s AI Impersonation Check combines video consent with liveness analysis to ensure the person who interviews is the same one who joins on day one.

AI-powered video consent and liveness verification

Confirm identity without slowing down. Candidates record a short consent video via a secure link. Our system runs advanced liveness checks and generates an impersonation report. If a breach is detected, the process locks automatically unless an authorized recruiter overrides it.

One-click consent: Auto-send video links when interviews are scheduled
Web-based recording: No app install required (Desktop & Mobile)
Guided experience: On-screen script ensures clear consent
Liveness detection: iBeta Level 1 & 2 compliant checks for spoofs/deepfakes
Clear status tags: "Clear" or "Breach" visible inside RippleHire
Configurable blocks: Restrict offers or scheduling if checks fail

Stronger controls without burdening your team

Security that runs in the background. RippleHire tracks consent and runs analysis automatically. Results surface where your team works—in the candidate profile. Interviewers can even upload screenshots for comparison, giving you a multi-layered audit trail.

FAQs

1. What is AI Impersonation Check in RippleHire?

It is a video verification feature that uses liveness detection to confirm the genuine candidate's identity. It generates impersonation reports after each round to prevent fraud.

2. How does the video consent process work?

Candidates receive a unique link via email. They open a web page, read a short script, and record a video. They can preview and re-record before submitting.

3. What is checked in the video?

The system checks for minimum duration and runs iBeta Level 1 & 2 certified liveness detection to flag spoofs, static photos, or deepfakes.

4. What happens if a candidate doesn’t complete the step?

Recruiters see a "Pending" status. Depending on your settings, the system can block interview scheduling or offers until the check is complete.

5. What does “Breach” mean?

"Breach" means potential impersonation or failed checks. The candidate is flagged, and standard users are blocked from moving them forward.

6. Can authorized users override a failed check?

Yes. Organizations can grant special permissions to specific users to override a breach. All overrides are logged in the Collaboration tab for audit.

7. Where can we see the results?

Results are visible in the candidate’s Collaboration tab. Recruiters can view the status, watch the video, and download reports.

8. Is the feature mobile-friendly?

Yes. Candidates can record their consent video easily from any desktop or mobile device without installing an app.

9. Does this replace manual ID verification?

It significantly reduces the need for ad-hoc manual checks, though some organizations may retain document verification for specific compliance needs.
