RippleHire joined Nasscom People Summit 2026 as a delegate, spending two days in Bengaluru with the leaders shaping how talent, leadership, and technology come together, under this year's theme: Talent, Intelligence, and the New Realities of Work.
A few ideas from the summit stood out, ones that echoed conversations RippleHire has been having with TA leaders all year.
Kathy Diaz, Chief People Officer at Cognizant, shared research suggesting AI will reshape the majority of jobs years earlier than originally projected. Her message to HR was direct: this is HR's moment to lead the reinvention, not wait for a seat at the table.
Ajay Vij, Senior Country Managing Director at Accenture Solutions, made a related point about what actually counts as success with AI. It isn't productivity alone. It's how well organizations redeploy the people and time AI frees up into new growth work. AI fluency, he added, will simply be table stakes for the next generation of talent, while judgment and empathy become what sets people apart.
One story from the stage stuck with the RippleHire team. Vishal Gondal, CEO of GOQii, gave an AI agent full access to his email, then fired it after it started fabricating reports. The agent's parting move was sending its own resignation letter to his entire staff. Gondal's takeaway: AI adoption doesn't work without a human firmly in the loop.
That's the exact principle RippleHire is built on. Agents coordinate. Recruiters close. The judgment, the relationships, and the final call stay with people, always.
